OUR MISSION

Gone–to-the-Dogs Rescue Inc.’s mission is to rescue pets in danger of euthanization at the highest kill shelters in Kern, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside Counties. By promoting adoption, we hope to make a difference and reduce the pet overpopulation in Southern California. Our vision includes a “no-kill” California, we want to achieve this by rescuing and re-homing as many spayed and neutered shelter pets as possible. Gone–to-the-Dogs Rescue, Inc. educates the public by advocating for spay/neutering of all pets, promoting pet health education and responsible pet parenting. Gone-to-the-Dogs Rescue Inc. is a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit charity registered with the State of California.

“It’s not the world that I’m trying to change. I do this so the world knows it won’t change me” – Garth Brooks

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

NOTE FROM MARCY JANES, PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER
OF GONE-TO-THE-DOGS RESCUE, INC.

Please help control our pet population, spay and neuter your pets!

Did you know: 20% of dogs are purchased from breeders (ASPCA.org), when there are millions of homeless animals sitting in our shelters waiting to die! Only 10% of dogs and cats are adopted from shelters and rescues (ASPCA.org) which means 70% of pets are stray/homeless or in a shelter waiting to be euthanized! Only 10% of animals received in U.S. shelters are spayed or neutered. That means that over 70 million pets are NOT which contributes to our rising shelter pet population (ASPCA.org).

70 million lives that are threatened every year with euthanization. 70 million furry little faces asking, "What did I do wrong?" 70 million sweet souls who don't have a chance unless we work together to get them to their furrever homes.
