Gone–to-the-Dogs Rescue Inc.’s mission is to rescue pets in danger of euthanization at the highest kill shelters in Kern, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside Counties. By promoting adoption, we hope to make a difference and reduce the pet overpopulation in Southern California. Our vision includes a “no-kill” California, we want to achieve this by rescuing and re-homing as many spayed and neutered shelter pets as possible. Gone–to-the-Dogs Rescue, Inc. educates the public by advocating for spay/neutering of all pets, promoting pet health education and responsible pet parenting. Gone-to-the-Dogs Rescue Inc. is a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit charity registered with the State of California.

Did you know: 20% of dogs are
purchased from breeders (ASPCA.org), when there are millions of homeless
animals sitting in our shelters waiting to die! Only 10% of dogs and cats are
adopted from shelters and rescues (ASPCA.org) which means 70% of pets are
stray/homeless or in a shelter waiting to be euthanized! Only 10% of animals received
in U.S. shelters are spayed or neutered. That means that over 70 million pets
are NOT which contributes to our rising shelter pet population (ASPCA.org).
